ARC Women’s Swim & Dive Capture Team Title at Cuesta Super Invite
The ARC Women's Swim and Dive team delivered an outstanding performance this weekend, claiming the team championship at the 20-team Cuesta Super Invite. The meet opened with an exciting sprint format, highlighted by the 50 freestyle shootout, where ARC placed five swimmers in the top 10: Amber Inderkum, Sasha Samoylovich, Anabel Maldonado, Jackie Clouser, and Ella Hanson.
Freshman Ella Hanson had a breakout weekend, posting personal-best times in all of her events while playing a key role in the team's relay success. Her strong swims provided an important boost to ARC's relay squads throughout the meet.
The distance group also delivered impressive performances, with multiple personal bests across the board. Claire Contreras led the charge with lifetime-best times in the 50, 200, and 500 freestyle events.
ARC's scoring leaders included Sasha Samoylovich and Amber Inderkum, who both finished among the meet's top five high-point scorers, contributing significantly to the team's overall victory. Following the weekend's results, all ARC relay teams are now ranked in the top eight in the state, positioning the program strongly as the season progresses.
The divers also played a crucial role in securing the team win. Sophomore Ashley Johnson earned second place on both boards, while freshman Arie Black added valuable points with a third-place finish.
With standout swims, strong relay performances, and key contributions from the diving squad, ARC showcased depth and talent across the board on its way to a dominant victory at the Cuesta Super Invite.
