Beavers Dominate Delta
The ARC men's swim team delivered a commanding performance at the Delta Disciplines Meet, capturing 1st place out of 10 teams in a dominant showing.
Freshman Andrew Donlin highlighted the day in the butterfly events. He claimed victories in the 100 and 200 fly, which secured him the overall fly discipline title. Sophomore Arian Mutschler added to the team's strength in the event with a win in the 50 fly, showcasing ARC's depth and sprint power.
On the diving boards, Judah Ortego led a remarkable sweep, winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter competitions. ARC divers demonstrated impressive depth, as four of Ortego's teammates filled the next four scoring positions, solidifying a major point advantage for the Beavers.
The meet also featured strong efforts from freshmen Brien Emmons and Noah Foster, who each took on new challenges. Both swimmers competed in their first 1650 freestyle and 500 freestyle races, showing great aptitude and endurance in the distance events.
Overall, the men combined standout individual performances, depth in key events, and a willingness to take on new challenges to secure an impressive team victory.
