Week 2 of Big 8 play brought 3 teams who were undefeate in conference together: ARC, FLC, and SJDC. ARC and SJDC both eeked out close wins with FLC, the Beavers and the Mustangs both winning 3-2. The last dual of the day put the two team together. 

ARC started hot winning 2 out of 3 matches in the 1st wave. Aurora Meneghetti and Margaret O'Brien started the first set of their match down 0-7 and managed to climb all the way back to win in straight sets. Maddy Seabury and Lillie Miranda were coming off a tough 3-set loss with FLC and brought a focused energy to the Delta match. Seabury/Miranda would score ARC's second point of the dual with another 2 set victory. Addy Tagala and Mylee Finney played a tough Delta 6s pair and lost in 2 sets. The pair made a huge run in the second set and came up just short with the score ending at 21-23.  

As the 3rd wave kicked off, ARC led 2-0 and Delta would need to score all 3 points to win the dual. Maddy Rossman and Maya Mishchuk came close for ARC at the 1s and fell just short 18-21, 19-21. Kaylee Astacio and Gwendolyn Hansen tried to find some 3rd set magic and also came up short in their match 16-21 and an oh-so-close 20-22. The decisive 5s pair was the only 3-set match of the dual and the Mustangs outlasted Anabelle Gomez and Gillian Rossi in 3 sets.
