ARC Volleyball Alumni Return to Finish Beach Eligibility
Aurora Meneghetti and Margaret O'Brien played on the highly successful 2021 and 2022 ARC Indoor Volleyball teams. In 2021, the team finished tied for 3rd in the state and was state runner-up in 2022. In the spring of 2023, ARC launched its beach volleyball program and took the talented indoor squad into the sand.
During this inagural season, Margaret and Aurora helped establish ARC on the 3C2A beach stage as the program experienced multiple firsts. That season, Aurora and her partner, Ella Black, were both named all-conference along with Kylie Matthews and her partner Addison DeMarse. Both pairs qualified for the state pairs tournament. The Beavers also qualified for their first NorCal Regional Team Playoff appearance in 2023, an experience only 6 teams in the North earn each year.

In May 2023, both Margaret and Aurora graduated from ARC. Margaret transferred to UC Santa Barbara and played on both the indoor and beach intercollegiate club teams. Aurora transferred to Cal Poly Humboldt and played 2 seasons of indoor for the Lumberjacks. By returning to ARC Beach, they are following in the footsteps of Sadie White, their former teammate, who was the first ARC Volleyball alumni to return to finish her beach career after graduating from ARC and attending a 4-year university.

Today, Margaret and Aurora bring a beautiful blend of maturity, experience, and heart to the Spring 2026 roster. They are currently partnered-up and holding down the 3 slot in the ladder. It's an incredible honor to have ARC alumni return to continue playing the game they love and contributing to the program in a whole new way.
