Program Services

The Dusty Baker Student Athlete Resource Center is a dedicated center to provide advising, counseling, leadership, supervision, and follow up intervention as needed to ensure academic success for all student athletes. It serves and supports all student athletes in the following ways:Student Athlete

Athletic Counseling

  • Support in identifying academic and athletic goals
  • Education plan development
  • Education regarding 4-year transfer (CSU, UC, Private, & Out of state)
  • Education regarding ARC, NCAA and NAIA athletic eligibility
  • Referrals to campus support programs and community resources
  • Career planning
  • Personal counseling
  • Crisis intervention

Registration Help

Assistance with registration, admissions, adding or dropping classes, understanding and completing forms, and referral to other campus resources

Grade Checks

Grade checks are distributed in week 4 of each semester and are due in 1 week to the coach
Our team works with student athletes to make sure they have all resources available to succeed academically


Student Success workshops on topics of Time Management, College Success, Note Taking, Study Skills, De Stress, and Athletic Eligibility are conducted every semester


If student athlete is struggling in a class, they may visit the Learning Resource Center and sign up for one on one or group tutoring
